About the role
Expand Psychology seeks dedicated, passionate, and skilled psychologists to join our growing team. This role involves providing clinical care, supervising early career clinicians, and participating in various professional activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality therapy services to clients in the population of your choosing
- Supervise early career clinicians clinical work, oversee administrative components of therapy
- Participate in weekly supervisors meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Contribute to the growth of specialty areas, clinical programming, and community outreach initiatives
- Pursue professional interests such as couples therapy, parent consultation, group therapy, or psychological assessment based on your expertise and goals
Requirements
- Maintain a full-time outpatient caseload, typically consisting of approximately 15-20 direct client contact hours per week
- Complete an APA-accredited predoctoral internship
- Be licensed psychologist in Virginia
- Have previous clinical supervision experience of either licensed or unlicensed clinicians
Qualifications
- Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an APA-accredited institution
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
- Passion for collaborative and integrative care

Schedule
Full-time outpatient caseload, typically consisting of approximately 15-20 direct client contact hours per week. This expectation is able to shift based on the amount of supervision hours you take on in your role (which is established collaboratively with the practice based on your goals).
