Summary
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent I to manage construction activities and supervise teams for multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Overall management of construction activities and task assignments
- Interface with other departments to ensure project requirements are met
- Budget, forecast, and manage project resources
- Review and clarify construction documents
- Develop and implement project schedules
- Coordinate with engineers and resolve discrepancies
- Establish crew sizes and select formwork systems
- Conduct pre-construction planning and site meetings
- Supervise and coach field personnel
- Develop leadership and training opportunities
- Implement safety protocols
- Manage open shop and union issues
- Maintain site logistics and efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in supervisory roles
- Experience with solar or large industrial power projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
- Current driver's license

Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $144,300 - $216,500. Actual range varies by location.
