Senior Superintendent I

SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent I to manage construction activities and supervise teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Overall management of construction activities and task assignments - Interface with other departments to ensure project requirements are met - Budget, forecast, and manage project resources - Review and clarify construction documents - Create and update project schedules - Coordinate with engineers and resolve discrepancies - Develop and implement site utilization plans - Select formwork systems and equipment - Conduct pre-construction planning sessions and meetings - Supervise and coach field personnel - Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring decisions - Develop leadership potential - Implement safety programs - Manage open shop and union issues - Maintain relationships with site visitors - Improve site work and logistics

QUALIFICATIONS

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or 10 years trade experience - Minimum 15 years of construction experience - Minimum 10 years' experience in a supervisory role - Experience with solar or large industrial power projects - Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects - Detail-oriented to organize and manage tasks - Basic understanding of construction law and business practices - Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Positive and professional attitude, strong customer service skills - Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies - Current driver’s license

PAY RANGE

The base pay range for this role is $144,300 - $216,500. Actual range varies by location.
