Top ENR General Contractor specializing in healthcare construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent for ground-up, renovation, expansion, and medical office building/tower projects in the Utah market. This is an excellent opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Prepare and submit accurate project reports.
  • Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise related to the construction project.
  • Foster a culture of safety and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior superintendent role.
  • Proven experience in healthcare construction, including hospital construction and ground-up projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with construction/project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.

Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or a relevant field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.

Pay

$120,000 - $200,000 per year
