Senior Superintendent - General Contractor - Healthcare

Michael Page is working with one of Chicago's most respected and established general contractors, a family-owned firm with more than a century of construction excellence and a reputation for delivering some of the region's most challenging healthcare projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily on-site construction activities for healthcare projects in Chicago.
• Coordinate trade partners and field teams to maintain planned work sequences.
• Review project plans and specifications to guide accurate field execution.
• Track daily progress and communicate site updates to project stakeholders.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment use, and site access to support scheduled work.
• Address field issues promptly to keep construction activities moving forward.
• Maintain clear site documentation, including daily reports and activity records.
• Promote safe work practices across active construction areas.

Requirements

• Experience leading on-site construction activities.
• Experience coordinating trade partners and field teams.
• Ability to read and apply construction plans and specifications.
• Experience tracking site progress and preparing daily reports.
• Ability to coordinate site logistics, deliveries, and equipment needs.
• Experience resolving day-to-day field issues.

Pay

Permanent position. Salary of $140,000 to $180,000.
