SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT (FT MYERS)

About the role

William Ryan Homes is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join our Production team in Ft. Myers, FL to supervise and direct all aspects of construction in a community from inception to move-in.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities from start to completion
• Inspect jobsites to ensure quality, cleanliness, safety, and schedule compliance
• Coordinate and hold subcontractors and vendors accountable
• Maintain accurate construction schedules and resolve delays quickly
• Ensure homes are 100% complete and showroom-ready for homeowner walks
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce OSHA and company requirements
• Assist with trade partner recruitment and process improvements
• Communicate project progress and challenges to leadership

Requirements

• Production homebuilding experience
• Thorough knowledge of residential construction processes
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and development drawings
• Knowledge of building codes and OSHA/EPA requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with residential scheduling systems; BuildPro is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

• Must own or lease a truck
• Valid driver's license and current insurance required

Schedule

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekends as needed
