Senior Superintendent

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of project managers and overseeing the execution of large-scale construction projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of construction industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of complex construction projects
• Manage a team of project managers and ensure project timelines are met
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Monitor project budgets and make adjustments as necessary
• Resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
