Senior Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction, progress, quality control and a clean site
• Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, inspections
• Work in partnership with Project Manager to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and meets the cost and time requirements of the project
• Demonstrate and maintain effective and open dialogue with the project team regarding changes in work, job conditions, subcontractor relations and any deviation in the direction of the project
• Promote positive relationships by dealing expertly and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors while instilling this philosophy in the project team

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent at a general contractor
• Experience in managing field personnel and all trades on site with great communication skills as well as the training, developing and mentoring of others
• Project Experience: Life Science, Advanced Tech/Manufacturing, Commercial, MSBA, Massport and Higher Education
• Project Size Experience: 10M to 50M
• Experience with complex and logistically challenging, fast-paced and high-visibility projects

Salary Range Information

Boston Base Salary Range : $150,000 – $250,000 The range stated is specific to Boston. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.
