We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a high level of leadership, strategic planning, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, a solid understanding of OSHA 30, and a proven track record in managing subcontractors, overseeing budgets, ensuring safety and culture, and handling commissioning and closeout. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of large-scale construction projects from initial planning to completion.
- Cookordination and management of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee budget planning and management for all projects, ensuring that all financial targets are met.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest safety standards and promote a positive safety culture within the team.
- Handle commissioning and closeout processes, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Mentor and guide superintendents, project engineers, and field staff, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
- Implement strategic planning and coordination to ensure that all projects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Regularly report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 30 and other relevant safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and coordination.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in commissioning and closeout processes.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members, promoting professional development and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
