About the role
The Senior Superintendent at Clune Construction is responsible for overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout. They work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project plan is executed effectively and actively contribute to the growth of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Active participation in RFP responses, including developing presentations and leading pitches.
- Schedule, logistics, and planning for pre-construction activities.
- Create and update accurate project schedules and weekly field updates.
- Manage multiple, large, and/or complex projects with high quality assurance and quality control.
- Supervise and manage internal field team, trade partners, and owner vendors.
- Promote teamwork and open communication on the project site.
- Resolve on-site challenges and issues promptly.
- Maintain Clune’s safety culture and adhere to OSHA standards.
- Develop and train Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
- Participate in business development and client relationship management.
- Contribute to the company’s growth through mentoring and supporting interns.
Requirements
- Experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, and/or mission-critical projects.
- Experience in all aspects of field operations, including scheduling, quality control, and coordinating sub-contractors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Validated coordination of plans and specifications with architects and engineers.
- Ability to promote teamwork and open communication on the project site.
- Proactive recognition and resolution of on-site challenges and issues.
- Ability to mentor and train field personnel.
- Participation in potential client interviews.

Pay
Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
