About the role

This position is responsible for managing submarine-related projects and growing Sonalysts’ submarine business. The ideal candidate is a former active-duty submarine officer with Command at Sea experience, looking to apply technical or operational knowledge to support military challenges while benefiting from the flexibility and empowerment of a small business environment.

Qualifications

  • Previously served as an active-duty Submarine Commanding Officer
  • U.S. Citizen eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI level security clearance*

Preferred Qualifications

  • Submarine Major Command experience
  • Experience in a training command or responsibility for tactical training
  • Deployed operational experience as SSN/SSGN Commanding Officer
  • Submarine acquisition, budgeting, or resource sponsor staff experience
  • Relevant submarine-related industry experience
  • Strong credentials in submarine sonar, fire control, imaging, and/or electronic warfare
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI level security clearance*

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check, including financial history, criminal record, foreign contacts, and other factors indicative of trustworthiness.

Pay

Salary ranges between $155,000–$180,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and other relevant business criteria.
