Program Manager Senior
About the role
The Program Manager Senior position plays a crucial role in managing the execution of various programs and key projects within Zebra's global marketing initiatives. This role specifically focuses on the Channel Program Evolution through the Channel Development Program, supporting other programs such as Marketing Performance Management (MPM), Innovation Initiatives, Product Launch (GTMp), and Zebra Owned Events.
Responsibilities
- Ensure program objectives and requirements are documented and aligned with Program Owners' needs and shared with team members.
- Leverage defined PMO process best practices and toolsets to support the achievement of program objectives and enable project teams to execute projects effectively.
- Guide project leads and teams through project scope, objective, and approach definition, including task ownership and timelines.
- Partner with project leads and cross-functional project teams to build appropriate plans to meet defined project objectives.
- Embed with project teams to provide hands-on project management and change management support when required.
- Execute against established processes to monitor project execution, risks, and issues, and support change management efforts.
- Provide top-down insights at the project and program levels on process execution to Program Owners, focusing on out-of-bounds execution and performance.
- Manage a Continuous Improvement framework to align Program Owners and stakeholders on program improvement efforts, including collecting feedback on the program toolset and processes and executing delivery of all aspects of program enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working knowledge of advanced concepts with project management approaches, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience working a hybrid schedule out of the Zebra facility in Lincolnshire.
- Work experience in stakeholder management, program governance, and strategic planning.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Intermediate to advanced presentation skills.
- Demonstrated comfort in presenting to mid to senior level cross-functional audiences.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with project / portfolio management software (e.g., Smartsheet).
- Intermediate to advanced skills in PC-based documentation tools including MS Office.
- Demonstrated working knowledge/experience with functions assigned (Channels, Portfolio, etc).
