Experience: 5+ years supporting federal subcontracting, procurement, or proposal development, with strong familiarity in FAR-based environments

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Serve as the senior subcontracting advisor to the Growth Strategist and capture leadership, providing expert guidance on sourcing strategies, competitive positioning, partner alignment, and risk mitigation
Lead development of advanced subcontracting strategies for large, complex, or enterprise-level captures—including multi-tier subcontracting, strategic partnerships, and innovative pricing and performance models
Conduct early market research, supplier intelligence analysis, and competitive assessments to influence capture shaping and teaming decisions. Drive outreach to new and emerging partners to strengthen GDIT’s supplier ecosystem.
Oversee all subcontract-related inputs for major proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance with FAR/DFARS, and alignment with GDIT’s business objectives, technical solutioning, and customer requirements
Direct negotiation strategy and lead high-visibility engagement with subcontractors, including teaming agreements, pricing strategies, NDAs, and data call execution
Identify and elevate subcontracting risks, gaps, and dependencies across the capture lifecycle, partnering with Contracts, Legal, Pricing, and Technical solution teams to ensure timely resolution. Provide regular executive-level risk briefings.
Leverage advanced analytics and artificial intelligence tools to evaluate supplier performance, detect misalignment between subcontractor commitments and customer requirements, and forecast pricing or compliance risks
Prepare and deliver briefings on subcontract strategy, partner positioning, pricing insights, risk posture, and recommendations to senior leadership, capture teams, and color-team reviewers
Drive continuous improvement efforts across the Growth organization by refining subcontracting playbooks, templates, workflows, and best practices. Mentor junior team members and help elevate the overall quality of subcontracting contributions.
