About the role

The College of Nursing is seeking a highly organized, student-centered professional who is passionate about helping students succeed and creating exceptional educational experiences. This position plays a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey, from prospective student engagement and recruitment through graduation and program completion.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance student success, strengthen engagement, and promote a culture of support, belonging, and academic excellence.
  • Serve as an important resource for current and prospective students by helping connect them with the information, programs, and services needed to achieve their educational goals.
  • Combine student support, program coordination, communication, event management, and administrative operations to ensure a seamless and positive experience for students across all nursing programs.
  • Foster meaningful connections between students, faculty, staff, and community partners through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
  • Create and coordinate student-focused programs, contribute to recruitment and retention efforts, develop communication and marketing initiatives, and support activities that promote student engagement and success.
  • Utilize data, technology, and best practices to help inform decision-making and continuously improve services and programs.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a student-first approach, collaborating with offices across the university, and serving as a trusted point of contact for students and stakeholders.
  • Support the advancement of the College of Nursing's mission of preparing future healthcare professionals through high-quality educational experiences and comprehensive student support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 12 months in student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
  • Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a student-first approach.

Skills

  • Experience with student programming, student services, or closely related experience.
  • Experience with event planning/management.
  • Experience with student information systems.
  • Experience with student communication.
  • Ability to engage in student recruitment and represent the institution to prospective students.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay

Targeted salary up to $50,300, based on experience
