About the role

Responsible for designing and overseeing structural projects that meet safety and building codes. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Designs and analyzes structural systems for buildings and infrastructure
• Collaborates with architects and other engineers to develop structural solutions
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
• Reviews and approves construction documents and plans
• Supervises junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS)
• Experience with construction management and project coordination
