Responsibilities
- Lead a design team on projects to successfully deliver structural engineering construction documents.
- Delegate and manage tasks assigned to other team members.
- Work with a team to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
- Provide feedback to staff engineers to help them grow professionally.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Aid in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
- Resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- Experience with Revit and BIM 360 on Architecturally driven projects.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a strong understanding of various building components and systems of various materials.
- Experience with client communication and retention.
