Senior Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team on projects to successfully deliver structural engineering construction documents.
• Delegate and manage tasks assigned to other team members.
• Work with a team to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to staff engineers to help them grow professionally.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Aid in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
• Resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines.

Requirements

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• Experience with Revit and BIM 360 on Architecturally driven projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a strong understanding of various building components and systems of various materials.
• Experience with client communication and retention.
