Senior Structural Engineer
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong concrete structural background to join the multi‑billion dollar Borough Based Jail Program in the New York City area. The Structural Engineer will work under the direction of Partners and Project Managers in engineering design, structural analysis, and construction administration for a new concrete building.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for a new building project.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop project designs.
- Assist in project management tasks such as coordination of internal and external comments and to‑do items.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and reports using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Review construction plans for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
- During the construction phase, assist with review of submittals and RFIs.
- Visit the construction site as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited engineering program.
- 3–15 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Experience working on structural concrete buildings.
- Professional Engineering License is a plus.

Pay
$80,000 – $120,000
