Senior Structural Engineer (10-15+ years)

The right team is more than an advantage, it’s a game changer! Come work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence at Coffman Engineers’ Bozeman office. We are seeking a senior-level Structural Engineering candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management duties and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
• Collaborate with the architect, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to execute structural designs.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design.
• Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications.
• Manage various types of projects and maintain a positive working relationship with clients.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES as described above.
• Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with the structural design of buildings or similar structures.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
