Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Vision
- Define and champion brand, communications, and campaign strategies that connect business objectives to human insight.
- Translate complex market, consumer, and cultural dynamics into clear strategic direction.
- Develop strategic frameworks, positioning recommendations, audience segmentation models, and messaging architectures that guide business and creative decisions.
- Ensure strategic rigor across the full lifecycle of work from discovery and research through execution, optimization, and measurement.
- Influence Clients
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions that help clients identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and make informed decisions.
- Deliver compelling presentations that build confidence, inspire action, and strengthen agency partnerships.
- Develop thought leadership and POVs that position the agency as a strategic partner rather than a tactical vendor.
- Inspire Creative Excellence
- Partner closely with creative leadership to unlock breakthrough ideas grounded in human insight.
- Develop inspiring briefs that spark innovative and effective creative solutions.
- Champion work that balances cultural relevance, business impact, and creative ambition.
- Help teams connect emerging consumer behaviors, technology trends, and cultural shifts to meaningful creative opportunities.
- Contribute to the Strategy Practice
- Mentor junior team members through feedback, coaching, and day-to-day collaboration.
- Contribute to the evolution of strategic frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Champion curiosity and a culture of learning across the team.
- Help elevate the quality of strategic thinking through strong work, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
- Help Drive Agency Growth
- Play a role in new business opportunities, including RFP responses, pitch development, and presentations.
- Contribute to agency thought leadership through articles, speaking opportunities, workshops, and client-facing initiatives.
- Aid in the optimization of the strategy discipline, processes, and tools that support agency growth and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in brand strategy, account planning, social strategy, or communications strategy within leading advertising, marketing, or consulting environments.
- Demonstrated experience contributing or leading to strategic work for large-scale consumer brands.
- Experience within technology, consumer electronics, telecommunications, or adjacent categories a definite plus.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing ecosystems, including brand, digital, social, retail, experiential, and commerce channels.
- Ability to connect data, consumer behavior, and business objectives to actionable strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional storytelling and facilitation skills.
- Highly proficient in developing and delivering presentations.
- A collaborative style with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or a related field preferred.
