About the role

Serve as the lead strategic partner for a portfolio of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients.
Develop annual strategic plans, guide integrated programs, and ensure all work aligns with client business objectives while being executed on time and within budget.
Oversee day-to-day client relationships, lead internal account teams, provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development support to Strategic Account Directors, Strategic Account Managers, and Strategic Account Associates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for client accounts.
  • Guide integrated programs to achieve client business objectives.
  • Manage and develop internal account teams.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development support to junior staff.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize value for both clients and Precision AQ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing pharmaceutical or healthcare accounts with annual revenues exceeding $2.5 million.
  • Proven experience serving as a strategic and business advisor to senior marketing, commercial, or medical affairs stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing, mentoring, and developing account management professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and contribute to business profitability.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA, or related graduate degree) preferred.
  • Experience supporting or leading new business development efforts, including pitches and proposal development.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech medical communications strategies and commercial planning.
  • Advanced presentation development and PowerPoint design capabilities.
