About the role
R&R Partners is seeking a highly creative, story-driven Senior Editor to support the development of premium, social-first video content for brand and product campaigns. This role is ideal for an editor who can take a wide range of existing assets and shape them into compelling narratives built for today’s social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit story-driven, social-first video content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Transform existing product assets, campaign footage, stills, packaging imagery, and captured content into engaging video narratives.
- Build strong editorial structures from limited or disparate source materials.
- Create content that feels premium, fast-paced, platform-native, and emotionally engaging.
- Develop edits for product launches, social campaigns, organic content, paid social, ecommerce support, and brand storytelling.
- Partner closely with Producers, Creative, Social, Strategy, and Account teams to understand objectives, audiences, deliverables, and platform needs.
- Interpret creative briefs and shape edits that ladder back to campaign strategy and brand tone.
- Incorporate music, sound design, VO, supers, graphics, and motion elements where needed.
- Support post-production workflows from rough cut through final delivery.
- Maintain organized project files, version control, exports, and delivery specs.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure feedback is addressed clearly and efficiently.
- Bring proactive creative ideas to elevate edits beyond basic assembly.
Requirements
- Senior-level editing experience in advertising, social content, branded content, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle, toys, CPG, or product-driven campaigns.
- Strong portfolio of social-first work that demonstrates storytelling, pacing, taste, and platform fluency.
- Experience editing with product assets, stills, packaging imagery, existing footage, and mixed-media source material.
- Ability to create compelling narratives without always relying on traditional scripted footage.
- Strong understanding of paid and organic social formats, aspect ratios, pacing, hooks, and platform behavior.
- Experience creating content for product launches, drops, collaborations, collector audiences, or fandom-driven brands is a plus.
- Animation, motion graphics, typography, and light compositing skills are highly preferred.
- Experience working with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and related post-production tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying closely connected to the team.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple deliverables, revisions, and deadlines.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is fully remote, West Coast.
