About the role
The Senior Stock Plan Analyst will play a crucial role in the administration of Box's global equity programs. This position requires a detailed understanding of equity compensation, including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, and ESPP, and will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in global equity compensation, including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, and ESPP
- Manage the end-to-end processing of equity transactions (grants, releases, exercises, cancellations, etc.) in Charles Schwab EquiView
- Cook up global ESPP enrollment and purchase cycles and ensure accurate processing and reconciliations in collaboration with Payroll and Schwab
- Oversee quarterly and year-end close and reporting, internal/external audits, including SOX and ASC 718 compliance
- Proactively plan and partner with stakeholders across Legal, HR, Tax, Payroll, and Finance to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Analyze and reconcile equity data, perform audits, and prepare / review all month-end journal entries
- Respond to complex employee inquiries with a high level of service and professionalism
- Lead employee education initiatives, including new hire equity onboarding and maintenance of communication materials
- Identify opportunities to enhance equity processes and systems through automation, AI, improved controls, and workflow changes
- Oversee the preparation of equity-related materials for SEC filings and proxy statements
- Take initiative on special projects aimed at improving the global equity experience or enhancing reporting capabilities
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in equity compensation, preferably within a public, global company
- In-depth knowledge of equity platforms such as Charles Schwab EquiView (or equivalent systems) and managing platform processes end-to-end
- Strong understanding and experience of equity programs (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPP) and related compliance, tax, and reporting requirements
- Strong experience supporting internal/external audits and ensuring compliance with SOX and ASC 718
- Experience managing complex reconciliations, close processes, and equity-related financial reporting
- Strong customer focus approach when supporting our global employees and internal partners
- Experience with mobile employee taxation and global equity considerations is a strong plus
- CEP certification (or active progress toward it) strongly preferred

Pay
United States Pay Range: $95,000 USD - $130,000 USD
Schedule
Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.
