Senior Staff Writer, Industrial/Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Staff Writer plays a crucial role in producing high-quality, SEO-driven content for EndeavorB2B, a rapidly growing B2B media and events company. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, this position requires a strong understanding of SEO, AI tools, and industry trends, along with excellent writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor industry developments and develop and maintain expert sources
• Create and optimize content using AI tools
• Implement SEO best practices
• Curate and contextualize industry content
• Manage visual and editorial assets
• Collaborate across editorial teams
• Ensure compliance and quality standards
• Support script and outline development
• Produce podcasts and assist in creating short-form videos

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in writing and editing content for a specific audience
• Previous B2B publishing experience is preferred
• Basic understanding of SEO/GEO, analytics, AI, and social media platforms
• Knowledge of AP Style and proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Word; Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign; InCopy, Acrobat) and Photoshop
• Proficiency in creating and editing video
• Knowledge of journalism best practices and ethics
• Education: Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Communications or English; or strong writing skills coupled with a science/engineering degree

• Annual salary range: $47,000 - $52,000

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $47,000 - $52,000. Final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as hiring location, skillset, prior years' experience, relevant education, certain degrees and certifications, training, and market considerations.
