Senior Staff Technician Maintenance Mechanic - Fab Facilities FM

About the role

We are looking for a multi-talented Senior Staff Technician Maintenance Mechanic - Fab Facilities FM for our Austin, TX, Fab 25 location. Applicants must have direct experience performing maintenance in a fast-paced, semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Major Areas Of Accountability include:

• Perform routine and or unscheduled maintenance as part of the fast-paced, day-to-day operations of the Facilities Trouble Call Team.
• Professionally interface with customers for maintenance and repairs covering a variety of tasks in support of a large semiconductor fabrication facility.
• Plan and complete tasks, both planned and unplanned as they arise in the most efficient manner.
• Order, receive and track materials and equipment as needed to support upcoming maintenance projects.
• Work within defined technical processes and procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications include:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 10 years of semiconductor maintenance experience.
• 3-5 years experience coordinating a maintenance team.
• Familiarity with clean room requirements and protocols.
• Familiarity with high purity materials and fabrication methods.
• Hands on experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and/ or TIG welding.
• Mechanically inclined, ability to troubleshoot equipment, excellent communication skills and follow-up, attention to detail, collaborative, organized, sense of urgency.
• Able to learn and use software to order materials and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements include:

• Lifting 50 lbs.
• Bending and reaching.
• Climbing ladders.
• Walking throughout shift.
