Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop features that enhance the Squarespace platform.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Squarespace's flexible work policies and practices.
  • Participate in agile development cycles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform product decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Experience with web development technologies such as React, Node.js, and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Passion for creating user-friendly and innovative digital solutions.
    • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
    • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and infrastructure.
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

    Skills

    • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
    • Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • Understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
    • Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
