Senior / Staff Nurse (NUH Delivery Suite)

Job Description & Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Provide safe and competent nursing care, including patient assessments on admission and throughout labor, monitoring patient progress, and assisting physicians with procedures.Delivery Support: Work with obstetricians, anaesthesiologists, and midwives to guide patients through the labor process.Monitoring & Assessment: Conduct fetal monitoring to measure baby’s heartbeat, monitor contractions, and manage pain relief.Emergency Response: Provide care during Caesarean sections (planned or emergency) and manage post-operative recovery.Care Coordination: Act as a Nurse In-Charge, facilitating care coordination within the team, improving care processes, and maintaining safe, hygienic environments.Education: Educate patients and families on pregnancy, self-care techniques, and neonatal care.Supervision: Guide new/junior staff and supervise nursing students on attachment.Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license.Experience: Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), labor and delivery, or high-acuity nursing is highly valued.Skills: Compassion, resilience, clinical expertise, and ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.Flexibility: Able to work 3 rotating shifts
