Senior / Staff Nurse (NUH Delivery Suite)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and competent nursing care, including patient assessments on admission and throughout labor, monitoring patient progress, and assisting physicians with procedures.
• Work with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and midwives to guide patients through the labor process.
• Conduct fetal monitoring to measure baby’s heartbeat, monitor contractions, and manage pain relief.
• Provide care during Caesarean sections (planned or emergency) and manage post-operative recovery.
• Act as a Nurse In-Charge, facilitating care coordination within the team, improving care processes, and maintaining safe, hygienic environments.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, self-care techniques, and neonatal care.
• Guide new/junior staff and supervise nursing students on attachment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license.
• Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), labor and delivery, or high-acuity nursing is highly valued.
