Senior / Staff Nurse (NUH Cardiothoracic ICU)

Critical Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, and lung transplants.Specialized Monitoring: Monitor patients requiring advanced life support, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and catheter-based left Ventricular Assist Devices (cVAD).Hemodynamic Care: Assess and manage hemodynamics, arrhythmias, and drug infusions, noting subtle changes to prevent complications.Patient Assessment & Planning: Assume accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work with clinicians, doctors, and nurses to achieve optimal health outcomes.Support & Education: Provide patient education and support to family members to help them cope with the critical illness.Clinical Leadership: Act as a team leader during shifts and mentor junior staff or nursing students.Registration: Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).Education: Degree or Diploma in Nursing or State Registered Nurse Certificate.Specialization: Cardiac/ ICU experience preferredShift Work: Required to work 3 rotating shifts.
