Responsibilities
- Lead audits, providing expert guidance and shaping financial narratives for clients.
- Mentor junior staff, guiding their skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Prepare complex year ends and review compilations, reviews, and audits with meticulous precision.
- Partner with management to refine processes and drive innovation within the firm.
- Communicate complex ideas and findings effectively, collaborating with the team to create impactful insights.
Requirements
- Experience in public accounting, with 3-4 years preferred.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or in progress.
- Natural leadership skills, including the ability to lead audit engagements and mentor junior staff.
- A talent for helping clients, with a collaborative spirit that embodies “help me, help you.”
- An eagerness to connect the dots, find hidden irregularities, and solve financial puzzles.
- The ability to explain complex ideas and findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in GAAP and CAS standards.

Pay
- $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year.
- Additional pay includes bonus and overtime.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday work week.
- Overtime may be available.

- Flexible language requirement: French is not required.
- Ability to commute/relocate to St. Catharines, ON L2R 5J5.
