Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate audited financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Month/Quarter-End Processes: Assist with journal entries, transaction reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Management Reporting: Support quarterly reporting, including variance and trend analysis.
- Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency in all financial documents and reports.
- Fixed Asset Register Maintenance: Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Ad-hoc Projects and Coordination: Collaborate with the Financial Controller and gather information from departments for reporting and operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of post-CPA qualification experience in a multi-currency financial services environment.
- Certification: Active CPA certification required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions), with ERP systems experience preferred.
- Industry Skills: Proficient in US GAAP with strong technical accounting expertise.
