About the role

The Senior Specialist, Talent Development designs, implements, and measures learning and development solutions that support EDF Talent Development goals, with regular hands-on work in EDF’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role focuses on developing people and fostering impactful knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and facilitate engaging learning sessions using instructor-led training, e-learning, blended programs, and webinars for diverse learning styles and levels.
  • Manage learning and development programs (leadership, professional, or career development) end-to-end, including design, delivery, measurement, scheduling, communications, and tech setup.
  • Administer and optimize the LMS to build and manage learning courses, maintain content, and generate reporting for program tracking and decision-making.
  • Establish metrics and measurement processes to assess training impact, develop scorecards, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources independently; may lead multifaceted or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to align TD strategies with local and global needs and standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships in coordination with associated programs.
  • Implement communication strategies for Talent Development initiatives.
  • Support Onboarding, Performance Management Process, and other Talent Development initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in advancing EDF Organizational Effectiveness and Culture (OEC) Goals, fostering an inclusive environment aligned with EDF values.
  • Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and facilitating enterprise-wide learning, leadership development, or talent management programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading programs end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience administering and optimizing a Learning Management System (LMS) or Talent Management System (Workday Learning strongly preferred; Cornerstone, SAP, Docebo, or similar systems considered).
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.

Skills

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for all staff levels; effective virtual facilitation preferred.
  • Ability to work across a dynamic, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong customer service orientation, excellent judgment, and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • Self-awareness, cultural competency, and inclusivity, with a commitment to continued learning and growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications; familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360) a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
