Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management (Supplier Development)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers on new product development and technological innovations.
- Oversee supplier development of manufacturing baseline documentation, and align planning with Project Engineering, Quality and other functions as necessary.
- Ensure timeliness of technical/manufacturing Q&A between supplier and COEs, to include drawing, specification, statement of work, and other requirements package documentation.
- Author and/or review inputs to supplier validation/qualification statement of works for new processes.
- Encourage suppliers to propose innovative solutions that can enhance products or processes.
- Align with engineering and strategy department personnel to promote and align internal research & development (IR&D) projects
- Generate weekly status reports to management and engineering
- Travel 50% to supplier location(s) (could be some international travel as needed)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Security Clearance would be preferred, but not necessary.
- Master degree or focus in supply chain preferred.
- Work in manufacturing environment using basic technical skills such as drawing reviews, standard operating procedure development and/or equipment usage.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products, as well as MRP/ERP system knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task project actions
- Communication skills to lead meetings and develop presentation packages and business case analysis for review with business leaders
Qualifications

- In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $84,000 - $156,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $73,000 - 135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.

Pay

Schedule
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off
