Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Snowflake dbt and SQL and ETL
• Hands-on with SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and other DBMS
• Good understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
• Experience in data testing and validation
• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Soft Skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

Insurance Domain Knowledge

• Strong ability to work with client stakeholders

Interview Questions

• How do you validate dbt models and ensure correctness of transformations in Snowflake?
• What types of tests do you implement?
• During data validation if you find mismatch between source and Snowflake target, how do you perform root cause analysis and ensure revalidation? How would you design end-to-end validation using SQL and what checks would you perform?
