Job Description
L3Harris is seeking a Program Planner/Scheduler with extensive experience to support various programs. Key responsibilities include creating Integrated Master Schedules using Microsoft Project Server, analyzing subcontractor schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and performing Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessments.
Essential Functions
- Utilize standard industry tools and techniques to create Integrated Master Schedules reflecting technical approaches, execution plans, and data requirements.
- Analyze and integrate subcontractor schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Monitor and advise on changes to the critical path and milestone achievement performance.
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers and Integrated Product Teams to maintain and analyze schedule data.
- Prepare and disseminate periodic project status reports based on analyzed data.
- Analyze IMS for performance to plan variance and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide insights into program scheduling trends and best practices to support program teams.
- Conduct Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessments on key programs as part of standard work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience (in lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience).
- Experience with ANSI-748C, DoD EVMS Guidelines, IPPD, and IPMDAR.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Significant experience with MS Project and/or MS Project Server.
- Prior experience in engineering and operations/manufacturing environments.
- Military contractor or aerospace & defense industry background.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and practices.
- Understanding of risk management concepts and risk analysis related to master schedules.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Pay Information
The salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $82,500 - $153,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $71,500 - $132,500. Final offer amounts may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
