About the Role
The F-35 Avionics team is seeking a Program Finance Analyst to support the financial oversight of complex programs. In this role, the analyst will serve as a key business partner to Program Managers and cross-functional teams in developing and maintaining program financial plans. Responsibilities include performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure contracts remain within negotiated terms and government cost-control requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare funding profiles, sales forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analysis to help ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Support the finance leadership team by analyzing performance data to identify early indicators of program health.
- Review and approve recommendations related to financial planning and control.
- Monitor adherence to approved budgets and assist with internal and external audits.
- Support programs including Cost Plus/Fixed Price, with contractual Earned Value (EVMS) reporting requirements.
- Preparation of EV deliverables and variance analysis for both internal management and customer.
- Change management, EAC analysis, and reporting.
- Orders, Revenue, Operating Income, and PWC forecasting and analysis.
- Monitor and control cost using PeopleSoft, COBRA, Hyperion, and advanced Excel skills.
- Interface with various levels of management, Program Office, and functional departments to support programs.
- Provide audit support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain US Government clearance.

- Strong written and oral communication skills, project a professional demeanor, and be capable of working effectively with junior to senior-level coworkers.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills; self-directed, proactive, and possess good communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and associated/similar tools.
- Prior defense and aerospace industry experience.

9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.
