Essential Functions

  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing execution schedules throughout the planning and execution phases of the manufacturing process.
  • Cook with internal suppliers, such as Material Management and Design Engineering to ensure material and labor is available to meet internal and external customer commitments.
  • Prioritize day to day activities of the manufacturing and material flow processes, measure success and failure to the plan, communicate status to program and management.
  • Develop unique solutions to manufacturing problems by working closely with other Operations functions including Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and technical personnel on other programs.
  • Cook with internal suppliers to ensure build documentation meets program and quality requirements.
  • Support timely analysis and implementation on Engineering Change Orders.
  • Utilize ERP data to identify potential schedule and/or data integrity problems along with metric-based performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory, planning, supply chain, and configuration management.
  • APICS, Lean, and Six Sigma training.
  • Experience with ERP implementations and/or Cincom Control and Agile/PDM systems.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment as an ops manager, production planner, or manufacturing engineer.
  • Possess strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate cross-functionally.
