Who You’ll Work With
You’ll join our Global External Talent Function (ETF), a team dedicated to connecting Bain case teams with external expertise that helps deliver exceptional client outcomes. ETF partners closely with Bain Partners, Staffing teams, practice areas, external advisors, and talent providers to identify and deploy specialized talent across industries and capabilities globally.
Where You’ll Fit Within the Team
As a Senior Specialist, Customer Success, ETF, you’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end external talent solutions for Bain teams. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, helping identify the best talent solutions, coordinating sourcing and onboarding activities, and ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and external talent. This role combines relationship management, recruiting, project coordination, and operational excellence in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage External Talent Requests
- Partner with case teams and Staffing teams to identify the most appropriate external talent solutions
- Manage the full lifecycle of external talent requests, from sourcing through onboarding and deployment
- Conduct talent searches using Bain’s advisor network, third-party providers, and direct sourcing channels
- Assess candidates, coordinate interviews, and support selection decisions
- Complete contracting and compliance processes for advisors and contractors
- Support onboarding activities and monitor deployment success throughout engagements
- Build & Maintain Talent Networks
- Develop strong relationships with advisors, contractors, and talent providers
- Maintain a deep understanding of Bain’s external advisor bench and talent ecosystem
- Identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen available talent pools
- Gather feedback and manage ongoing relationships with deployed talent
- Drive Go-to-Market Activities
- Create marketing materials, success stories, and communications to promote ETF services
- Participate in discussions with Partners, Staffing teams, and practice leaders to identify support opportunities
- Contribute to the development of new offerings and external talent solutions
- Improve Operations & Processes
- Maintain accurate records and reporting within ETF systems and databases
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, workflows, and operational processes
- Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance ETF effectiveness and customer experience
About You
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in recruiting, talent management, customer success, vendor management, consulting support, product management, marketing communications, or related fields
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation
- Experience presenting ideas, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within consulting, professional services, staffing, recruiting, or vendor management environments
- Experience managing external talent, contractors, advisors, or freelance networks
- Exposure to marketing, business development, or go-to-market initiatives
Working Model
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week, Boston Office.
U.S. Compensation Information
The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows: In Boston, MA, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $97,000 and $116,000; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, certifications, training, and skill level.
Annual discretionary performance bonus: This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation (4.5%).
