Senior Specialist, Maintenance (Refrigeration)

Responsibilities

• Fulfills work order information in SAP on a timely basis and confirms status. Provides oversight to verify and close WO. Originate modifications in SAP (BOM, instructions).
• Develops and maintains detailed training program for the team to develop team knowledge in the maintenance and operations field and other areas of the plant.
• Performs advanced trouble shooting and detailed failure analysis to determine root cause. Gives clear instructions to less knowledgeable technicians.
• Provides status reports regarding the execution of Preventative Maintenance activities. Improves the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Collaborates with outside contractors for advanced projects or supplemental workforce.
• Leads cross-functional equipment improvement teams to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Analyzes production data, taking appropriate actions for continuous improvement.
• Responds to all maintenance emergencies and anticipates them proactively.
• Innovates and sets technical direction for others.
• Supports training of production & maintenance personnel related to advanced operations and care of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Provides supervisory relief and coverage, able to replace temporarily a team leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma +10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
• Associate degree/Technical Diploma (relevant field of study) +6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree (relevant field of study) +4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements.
