Senior Specialist, Integration and Test Engineer

About the role

L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting. This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
• Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
• Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
• Aid in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active Secret security clearance to start with ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Preferred: Excellent organization skills, effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment, proficiency in Linux and/or Unix operating systems, familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control, proficiency at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent), experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture, experience with Radar systems, test automation.
