About the role
The Senior Specialist, Customer Solutions at XPO is responsible for influencing cross-functional teams to deliver on expected schedules, taking ownership of potential failures, and ensuring customer success through commitment and oversight.
Responsibilities
- Influence cross-functional teams to provide delivery on the expected schedule and take ownership of each potential failure, often asking for prioritization of a particular shipment or preparing another team to perform above standard services
- Understand customers' requirements and commit to the oversight necessary to ensure success
- Produce daily reports and other customer communications, building trust with customers by providing insights and value to the XPO shipping experience
- Keep all systems up to date to ensure accurate reporting and identify any failures, recording the root cause and the responsible party
- Provide feedback and ideas for process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred 2-4 years of logistics or transportation experience
