Senior Specialist, Client Coverage

About the role
You’ll make an impact by:
- Leading development of new business through managing a portfolio of existing client relationships and cultivating new prospects
- Focusing on revenue growth by deepening and expanding relationships
- Conducting research and applying technical expertise to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions aligned with the firm’s value proposition
- Oversight of the tracking database to ensure all client and deal information is accurate and up to date in eCRM and reporting platforms
- Collaboration with internal teams including client service, operations, marketing, legal, and compliance to manage risk and ensure alignment with business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services with exposure to specific client types or products such as Hedge Funds or Pensions
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales Support, Global Capital Markets, or Product Management is preferred
- Applicable local or regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
- Strong understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and industry drivers in the region
- Bi-lingual capabilities and cultural awareness are a plus to build client trust in a global environment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced/graduate degree preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial services with exposure to specific client types or products such as Hedge Funds or Pensions
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales Support, Global Capital Markets, or Product Management is preferred
- Applicable local or regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
- A strong understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and industry drivers in the region
- Bi-lingual capabilities and cultural awareness are a plus to build client trust in a global environment

Benefits
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $59,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
Pay
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $59,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
Schedule
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
