Senior Specialist - Business Analysis (Business System Analyst)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst to work on enterprise integration initiatives across multiple business and technology platforms. The candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications, and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, development teams, and testing teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes, integration requirements, and data exchange needs.
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions.
• Analyze current state and future state business processes and identify integration opportunities.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, use cases, and data mapping documents.
• Define API requirements, integration workflows, interface specifications, and message structures.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Integration Developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessment, and dependency management across interconnected applications.
• Facilitate requirement reviews, walkthroughs, and stakeholder sign-offs.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect triage.
• Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise integration standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.

Requirements

Business Analysis

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process modeling.
• Expertise in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process documentation.
• Experience conducting stakeholder workshops and requirement validation sessions.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

System Analysis & Integration

• Strong understanding of system integration concepts and architecture.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), data mapping, data transformation, message queues, and middleware.
• Understanding of integration platforms such as Boomi.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position, other forms of compensation may be provided, such as an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay, and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
