Senior Speakers Bureau Specialist
About the role
The Speakers Bureau team runs some of the most visible programming at Workhuman — from mainstage keynotes and customer speakers to executive thought leadership and webinar content. This role exists to make sure the work behind the scenes is as strong as what shows up on stage. We're looking for a Senior Speakers Bureau Specialist to be the execution layer across the full team.
Responsibilities
- Cook up logistics for executive speaking engagements, customer speaker appearances, thought leadership events, media opportunities, and partner events
- Draft first versions of executive briefs, speaker prep materials, and talking points
- Work with Executive Assistants and event teams to manage calendars, prep timelines, and deliverables
- Help manage outside vendors — tracking edits, approvals, and deadlines
- Support event coordination including scheduling, speaker prep, invoicing and post-event reporting
- Maintain speaker tracking systems, engagement documentation, and project dashboards
- Ensure action items, follow-ups, and deliverables are documented and tracked to completion
- Continuously improve templates, workflows, and systems across the team
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in executive communications, PR, media relations, marketing, event management, project management, or a related field
- Strong project management skills. You are comfortable using Asana (or similar tools) to track milestones, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure deliverables ship on time
- Clear, confident writing. You take a strong first pass on briefs and talking points — and you take direction well
- Operational excellence. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
- Proactive ownership. You anticipate needs, follow up without being asked, and flag risks early
- Calm under pressure. You don't rattle easily when things move fast or stakes feel high
- Experience in B2B SaaS and/or emerging technologies (AI, HR tech, enterprise software, etc.)
- Experience supporting executive LinkedIn publishing workflows is a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus

- Valid permanent work authorization in the U.S. (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident)
