Job Purpose

The Senior Sourcing Specialist, Chemical Parts and Service role is a strategic role for the Global Parts and Service Organization. This is an individual contributor role that manages the purchasing of service parts globally in all CNH operating regions. This position will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for global filtration commodity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops/implements OE and OES supplier strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, service, and unit cost. Drives the selection of suppliers, negotiates, and maintains performance to expectations.
  • Negotiate, implement, and manage LTA's (long term agreements) while achieving commercial savings and raw material recovery to meet or exceed material cost and total cost reduction objectives and while supporting organizational initiatives. Facilitates supplier/engineering VA/VE activities to drive product cost savings and process improvement initiatives to achieve budget performance.
  • Provide leadership in and develop an understanding of and insight into the market for the commodities assigned, including industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, lead-times, technology and manufacturing capability of company suppliers and suppliers in the market that best meet expectations and objectives. Track, monitor, and execute hedges at optimal raw material market conditions to minimize risk.
  • Analyze and evaluate external price trends and new product offerings to reduce overall purchasing costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations and develop supply recommendations.
  • May coordinate efforts with production team members in the reduction of purchasing/engineering costs and establishing costs for new products.
  • May select, recommend, and manage relationships with major global suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% - domestic and international (majority of travel will be domestic)

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $87,000 - $145,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
