Senior Sourcing Manager (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with Stryker’s mission and global category goals, optimizing supplier performance across service, quality, and cost.
  • Serve as the escalation point for supplier issues, including quality concerns, dispute resolution, and commercial implications of product field actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier capabilities to meet both short-term and long-term business needs.
  • Lead global sourcing projects and strategic initiatives beyond the sourcing function, including program management efforts.
  • Engage confidently with senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Stryker and supplier organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or a related field
  • 10 years in supply management with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier development
  • Knowledge and application of supplier contract strategy, negotiations, contractual terms, and contract administration
  • Knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors, including experience in assessing and mitigating risk in the supply base
  • Experience with supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems
  • Strong skills in leadership, negotiations, influencing, communication & presentation, project management, troubleshooting & problem solving, analysis, and strategic thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, international sourcing, and supplier relationship management within a global manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to source, evaluate, and manage suppliers internationally while driving cost, quality, and delivery performance
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry, preferably within the Medical Device industry
