About the role

The Senior Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in accelerating customer adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) within large enterprise automotive and manufacturing accounts. Key responsibilities include owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, facilitating widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform, and developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies and application construction.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform
• Developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application and service construction using the AWS platform
• Representing AWS well within the customer's environment and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• Thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience preferred

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
