Senior Solutions Architect, US Automotive & Manufacturing

About the role

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from large enterprise automotive and manufacturing accounts. The AWS Global Support team works closely with leading companies and partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform
• Developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application construction
• Representing AWS well within the customer's environment and driving discussions with senior personnel
• Thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience

Qualifications

• Customer facing and operational technology (OT) skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Pay

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
