About the role

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth from large small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The AWS Global Support team works with leading companies and believes world-class support is crucial to customer success. They partner with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help them gain competitive edge using AWS
• Help influence customers' architectural choices across various use cases involving security, compute, storage, networking, and advanced scenarios like serverless, analytics, and AI/ML
• Provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community
• Learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry
• Shape and deliver strategies to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within large enterprise automotive and manufacturing accounts
• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Facilitating widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform
• Gaining deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application and service construction
• Representing AWS well within the customer's environment and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
• Thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience

Qualifications

• Customer-facing and operational technology (OT) skills to represent AWS well within the customer's environment
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

Skills

• Strong understanding of AWS services and technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing solutions for complex architectures
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually

Full-time
