Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary technical expert for identity threat protection initiatives, supporting complex customer engagements while influencing product strategy and field enablement.
- Lead technical deep-dive sessions with enterprise customers focused on identity threat detection, response, posture management, identity graphs, and adaptive identity security solutions.
- Own complex proof-of-value engagements by defining success criteria, leading evaluations, and guiding architecture discussions with senior technical and executive stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted escalation point for complex identity security opportunities and provide expert guidance on architecture, implementation, and customer challenges.
- Partner with product management, engineering, and technical marketing teams to influence roadmap decisions, product positioning, and launch strategies.
- Create and deliver technical enablement programs for sales engineering, account teams, customer success, and related technical audiences.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to capture customer insights, competitive trends, and product opportunities to inform future improvements.
- Use AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate research, content creation, competitive analysis, and understanding of evolving security challenges.
Requirements
- Experienced cybersecurity professional with extensive expertise in identity security, enterprise architecture, and customer-facing technical leadership.
- Strong ability to communicate complex security concepts, operate independently, and collaborate across product and business teams.
- 10+ years of experience in presales, sales engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical roles, with significant exposure to identity security, IAM, ITDR, or adjacent domains.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of identity platforms such as Okta and/or Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication flows, MFA, conditional access, and administrative workflows.
- Extensive experience leading enterprise technical evaluations, proof-of-concept engagements, and complex customer deployments.
- Ability to explain multi-stage identity attacks and security strategies to both technical audiences and executive decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of identity threat landscapes, attack paths, and modern security operations practices.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-changing environments with incomplete information and evolving product requirements.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to influence strategy and execution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and technical storytelling skills.
- Experience with identity vendors, SSPM, DSPM, SIEM/SecOps tools, product management, or technical enablement programs is a plus.

- Competitive base salary range of $178,500 - $210,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
