About the role

AWS is seeking a cleared Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and drive opportunities for government customers. The role is based in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures
• Assisting partners respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies
• Building a broad understanding of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• Acting as a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
