Senior Solutions Architect, AWS WWPS Partners SA

About the role

AWS is seeking a cleared Solutions Architect to support Global Systems Integrator partners and drive opportunities for government customers. The role is based in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how around application and service construction
• Acting as a subject matter expert on security related to customer applications and services

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Qualifications

• Passionate about creating, building, educating, training, and designing cloud computing architectures, especially for Defense Department customers
• Deep dive technical discussions around design and a strong interest in keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 annually.
